Buyers: Your Time Has Come!

Many buyers have been frustrated this year by not finding the home they want. Many have just given up. Well, do I have NEWS for you! The Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors reports that last week, the New Listings for the week of 10/21 increased more than 10% over the same week one year ago. Pending Sales dropped by more than 4% for the same week over one year ago. If this continues, we are bound to see an increase in inventory soon!

This updates mean that there will be more to choose from and possibly find your perfect home. Also, because sales normally do go down this time of year, sellers could be more open to a reasonable offer. A check of interest rates yesterday show a rate of 4% still.  All in all, it makes sense that buyers should get back in the saddle and start looking.

For more information on how this might affect your buying power, give me a call or shoot me an email. Thanks for reading.
