2019 is now behind us. And what a great year it was. Annie and I are
grateful to you our great customers and friends as we had our 36 th
straight year of real estate success! We helped 22 families buy and/or
sell their homes. It truly fills our hearts with Joy. And Annie is better
than ever having 2 brand new knees. She is ready to rock and roll into
2020. We call her the bionic woman!
Now 2020 is here and the economy in the US is roaring like a lion. More
people are working and at higher wages than ever, at all income levels.
GDP is up to its highest level in 20 years. In Minnesota, the New listings
are rising as we approach Spring and more sellers are putting their
homes on the market early. This will give buyers an even better
selection of homes particularly early in the year. And interest rates are
truly at historic lows. This is the opportunity of a life time to purchase
your dream home.
And for sellers in the Twin City 13 County Metro, prices paid for homes
rose another 8% in 2019. This is an excellent opportunity to cash in on
the profits you have made since 2012 when prices started moving up
again. Some sellers are concerned about the lower inventory of homes
and they ask themselves “what if I cannot find a home I like. Where am
I going to live?” Our Bell Mortgage Loan Officer, Stacey Newgaard, and I
have come up with some very creative solutions to that dilemma, even
the possibility of buying BEFORE you sell and doing so non-contingent.
So, if you are planning to make a move in 2020 or beyond, give me a
call so we can do a strategic analysis on your situation. It really does
pay to plan ahead in real estate. We truly look forward to serving your
real estate needs this year.
Remember when time and money matter, so do knowledge and
experience.
"Experience you can trust!" I am very fortunate, along with my partner and wife, Ann, to have spent my career of 41+ years helping people successfully market their homes in the Twin Cities. We have ha....
